Against God’s will, the fruit of the tree of good and evil became the dominant source of input in defining man’s existence and idolatry and injustice have become a way of life. And because of it, the Divine Order of worship suffered until God sent His Son Melchizedek (Genesis 14:18-19) to establish ‘Jeshurun’ (Deuteronomy 32:15, 33:5, 33:26, Isaiah 44:2) to be a Holy Priesthood among the Canaanites and later the Nations. 1 Peter 2:3-5 is a clear example of the New Covenant’s need for a Holy Priesthood, “to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ” He is the headship of the Divine Order of Worship and God has ordained that Jeshurun prepare the way for the return of Christ the Messiah, in much the same manner as did John the Baptist prepared the way for Jesus to introduce the New Covenant between God and all creation, or Melchizedek, he prepared the way for Abram’s ascension to the higher spiritual level of spiritual being as Abraham, "The father of many nations."
